Privacy Policy
Overview
- In accordance with Article 30 of the Personal Information Protection Act, Seoreunnet (the “Company”) establishes and discloses the following Privacy Policy in order to protect users’ personal information and to handle related grievances promptly.
Article 1 (Purposes of processing personal information)
- Membership registration and management, identification and authentication, maintaining membership status and preventing misuse
- Orders for hanji products, payment, delivery and customer support
- Managing reservations for experience and workshop programmes, on-site verification and sending informational notifications
- Marketing and information about cultural events (where optional consent is given)
Article 2 (Items of personal information collected and retention periods)

Article 3 (Entrustment of personal information processing)
- 1. The Company may entrust personal information processing work as follows in order to provide the Services smoothly.
- Electronic payment services: PayVerse
- Delivery and logistics services: CJ Logistics, Korea Post parcel service and the like
- Notification and text message services: Kakao AlimTalk, SMS providers and the like
Article 4 (Installation and operation of cookies, and refusal)
- The Company stores and retrieves “cookies” in order to provide individually tailored services. Users may refuse the storage of cookies through their web browser settings, although this may restrict the use of some tailored services.
Article 5 (Measures to ensure the security of personal information)
- Administrative measures: establishing and implementing an internal management plan, regular staff training
- Technical measures: managing access rights to the personal information processing system, applying encrypted communication (SSL/TLS), installing security programmes
- Physical measures: access control to documents and the computer room
Article 6 (Protection of children’s personal information and overseas transfer)
- Where the personal information of a child under the age of 14 is collected, the consent of a legal representative is obtained, and the legal representative may request access to, correction of or deletion of the child’s personal information.
- The Company does not, in principle, transfer personal information overseas. However, where an overseas payment service (PayVerse) is used, processing takes place after prior consent.
Article 7 (Exercise of data subject rights and the personal information protection officer)
- Users may at any time exercise rights such as requesting access to, correction of, deletion of, or suspension of the processing of their personal information.

Article 8 (Changes to this Privacy Policy)
- This Policy may be amended in line with changes in legislation or security technology. Any change is announced through the notices section of the Site at least 7 days in advance.
Addendum
- These Terms and the Privacy Policy take effect on 7 August 2026.
