ABOUT THE ARTIST

함혜인 · Ally Ham

Hanji artist · Director of Bukchon Hanji Studio

Her connection to hanji craft began in 2012 with the memory of decorating her mother's tea-ware storage box by hand.

As a member of a traditional hanji craft association (Korean: (사단법인) 전통한지공예가협회), she continues the hanji craft she began as a hobby, focusing on layered hanji craft and hanji painting.

Drawing on her experience as an English teacher and her overseas MBA studies, she is committed to connecting traditional craft with audiences around the world.
